After many years in the hustle and bustle of hospitality I finally packed it all in to do what I love, working with my hands. The quietude of the workshop as I give that table a new coat of oil, the unique smells of each wood I work with, the demanding exactness of every cut – these things drive me to make. A graduate of GMIT Letterfrack an native of Galway I have been living and working in Co. Carlow since 2016. As a furniture designer and maker I believe in a balance of function and form, making practical pieces that add something different to a room.
